is there any way to mod a bios from HP/Compaq to support bigger ram modals? i have an AM3 mobo M2N78-LA Narra 6 but it only supports 4 gig ram modals i wanna be able to use the full 32 gig ram modals that AMD's memory controller supports or even high decity ram? and remove the only HP veder video card restriction thank you
I'm the owner of HP 250 G3 laptop, which looks like I bought as a refurbished or something, since the warranty on my laptop expired not after a year, but after a 5 months - it's said on the HP website. There was a Windows 10 Home on it, but there is no proper MSDM tables or something like that. There was no recovery partition, it looked strange for a system on OEM notebook (I have the old Toshiba Satellite with Vista HP). The BIOS says itself that system is "non-Windows". Will I be able to activate SLIC table by using the NbDmiFit software? Looks like my BIOS is locked, I don't have many options to choose. Is the NbDmiFit dangerous? If so, it would be hard to recover? My BIOS is Insyde H2O F.36. Anyway, that laptop is a piece of trash. Especially, the RT3290 WLAN card, which likes to loss connection itself periodically.
