Well the tool itself is portable, since it has to be. You then copy the tool to a computer your servicing and installing it.

Three things. 1) Can someone tell me if we can get the lost posts back or not? 2) If I want to rename my thread to "OEM Recovery Partition Creator for Windows 7/8/10" who must I ask? 3) I lost my Archive HDD (USB power loss during BitLocker Encryption... *sigh*). I lost ALL my previous version of my tools, including the old "Basic", "Legacy", version 3 and so on. Anyont have copies somewhere? Thanks!

Does your tool /generalize the sysprep, can it be used on other computers or strictly the computer the tool is installed on.
I do a Generalize option BUT the Sysprep.XML file specify to KEPP the current computer drivers so, yes, in can be usedon another computer but preferably with the same kind of drivers. Otherwise you may have to uninstall some device drivers. I decided to use the Generalize option to prevent problem with AD and WSUS in case on utilization of my software in a corporate environment.

@ AnarethoS, I finally decided to install win 10 from scratch since most drivers are now updated for my specific laptop. Little bit of a learning curve for win10 recovery creation but once I learned it, everything went smoothly. Just wanted to share results and say thank you for a handy tool.
