    Unfortunately, it didn't work. I used the flash utility included and I got this:

    Error
    Load file : New rom size did not match this platform !

    Just to summarize: I have HP HDX16t laptop, BIOS version: F24A. Please mod BIOS to include SLIC 2.1. Refer to my previous post (#1 at the beginning of thread) for the other info. Appreciate if anybody could provide help.

    Care to tell me what program you using? is it InsydeFlash or Flas**t?
    The BIOS is already SLIC 2.1... Sometimes if you flash using win program they don't replace the SLIC... Therefore you have to use Flas**t under DOS with /all parameter
