No one can give assurances....common sense ought to tell you this...you take a risk in modifying and flashing the bios.

    Wrong Section?

shouldn't this be on the Bios Mod Section Rather Than the Windows 7 Section?

Im not questioning authority... I was just wondering?

Nice tool! Yesterday I've successfully modded my first Phoenix BIOS by adding SLIC 2.1. :)

Yeah, I know that. It's not what I meant.
I know the phoenix/insyde tool can only REPLACE an exisiting slic in an insyde bios (and then you told me it's not true), and don't know any other insyde tools to insert a slic when there is no present.

So I'm a little confused here, and that's not a good way to start modding anything...

"SLIC table from RW Everything reports is incomplete"

If your receiving "SLIC table from RW Everything reports is incomplete", it is commonly caused by "someone stupidity" flashed their BIOS using a Windows Flasher (either x86 or x64) while running a "Loader". If your lucky you'll mangle the DMI info and some model specific branding, at worse it'll brick your motherboard. So, my advice, do the flashing from "DOS" on a USB stick. Many BIOS firmwares are NOT model specific (especially Laptop BIOS's), and those info are lost for good, unless you've saved those info ahead of time using the flasher ahead of time without a "Loader" loaded, preferably under DOS. Even if you reflash properly from DOS from now on, or the flasher made a backup after the screwup, which is not helpful because the new backup bios would contain "Loader" info & pieces of the original BIOS.

    Good luck!

    1. I flash BIOS in DOSfirst time from crisis recovery disc, then from original fujitsu boot cd
    2. reinstal OS 2 times (XP & 7) without any loader's
    3. Have this message
m.b. first time i be stupid and make Acpitbls on OS with loader....but rebild bios with that acpi table dont work propertly.
anyway, after bad flashing i'm always used crisis recovery wish original bios.
original bios have some markers (with slp 2.1, information frome fujitsu site, but slic dump toll kit don't see it) m.b. this markers just incomplete?

    Hello! I have a laptop Acer 5738G-664G50Mn!
I'm getting the same problem: "SLIC table from RW Everything reports is incomplete"!
It is possible that i flashed the bios while having a loader installed...i'm not really sure!
So...what can I do about this right now?! Is there a way I can stil mod the bios (v 1.13)?
I already found a bios for Acer 5738 on this forum...by Busykid508...but it doesn't work for me! In fact after opening that modded file in Phoenix Bios Mod Tool it looks like it's still slic 2.0!
    Pls help!

Busykid....those are the exact files that i have already tried!
But please explain this to me...is it normal to open with Phoenix Bios Mod Tool the already modified bios file within your archive and display this: Complete SLIC (2.0)...,Pubkey and marker (2.1)???
