Thanks CODY, gonna wait for a clear head in the morning to read though all this thoroughly, and set it up properly
Stellar work Cody. Been waiting for someone to throw together a "nice block all by default" guide. I hope this guide in combination with the LTSB version will be enough. I hope WFC is free.
that looks like it mite be the best way of blocking win10 spyware, however someone with the skillz should do network traffic analysis after setting it up to see if WF is indeed a firewall or a firewall in name only
I'm sure it does, i was just reporting it because someone said that he hoped it was free. It is but won't allow you to edit the Notification tab so no major problem. This way people can test the program first and see how it goes. Then we can do whatever we want, it seems a good software indeed
I have been thinking about dumping Windows 10 all together as of late... I love it in terms of what it has to offer but this malware has gone too far for me.. I can't even feel safe in knowing that my data is protected on my PC because my OS is busy packing it up and sending it off to be analyzed and or possibly getting a court summons over some program I may or may not have downloaded at some point in my long life on the internet. f**k that. On the other hand your solution is what I was suggesting in another thread, the only real way to be safe is to block everything. However, since I am very insecure I block everything on a UTM Hardware solution which "I Control" as I know MS will soon patch the firewall with perma holes.
