Hey! So on my XPS 15 when opening task view the animation lags. This is when the screen is set to 4k. On any lower resolution the animation is smooth. How can I make the animation smoother? I'm on the creators update, although this was happening on older builds. Let me know if you need any more info.
    Thanks!

Perhaps, you might want to install the latest chipset and graphics drivers.

Just tried it, the lag is still here, it did go away I little bit though.

I don't know how relevant this is, but the lag is present in safe mode.

Please, check the task manager when using 4k to see the applications which are making high use of the resources.

"Windows Module Installer Worker" is at the top with 13% to 14% of CPU. Everything else is ~0.7%.
Edit: Actually that's probably the sfc /scannow that I'm trying.

Which of the graphics are you using when on 4k? I would suggest you switch to Nvidia graphics for better video performance or else it is time to check for latest BIOS update from your system manufacturer website.

I'm already on the latest bios. How can I switch exclusively to Nvidia Graphics?

Are you on Nvidia graphics and what version?

If after restarting the system and you are still facing this problem I would suggest you do clean Windows 10 install using ISO from Microsoft website.
