    @abbodi1406

    We all know You have great, great list of updates in Your signature.

    And can You provide some information about Security Only Quality Updates, just here in this thread, please? Now and in the future?

    Latest one is KB3197873. I believe KB3100919, KB3164033, KB3172727 and KB3177108 are replaced, at least. Just I am not sure. :mushy:

    What is that "Security Only Quality Update"? MS promised to do Cumulatives only.

    I have 2 old machines (x86) that will not install KB3184143? Is it even needed? All the rest of them have installed fine.

    Hello, I have W811 IR5 image and want to install these two updates to it:

    KB3003667
    KB3185319 IE11 Cumulative Security

    Could anybody tell me, which prerequisite KBs I have to install 1st before I will be able to install these ones above? Thanks

    KB3003667 -> Microsoft Camera Codec Pack KB2899189

    KB3185319 -> none
    it's already superseded by the Monthly Rollup/Security Only
    but WU might still request it because Msft did not add the supersedence metadata for the Rollup

    Thanks.
    I have hidden:
    KB3197874
    KB3197875
    KB3205401
    ...since they spoil the ARM jailbreak.

    Still KB3185319 is always installed in 2nd wave. On clean IR5 it isn't offered and it appears after these are done:

    Preview Monthly Quality Rollup -> KB3185319 requested
    Security Monthly Quality Rollup -> KB3185319 not requested

    so it's KB3192404

    After I applied all current updates (fresh install), i tried just to be sure, to install the latest IE CU (Windows8.1-KB3185319-v2-x64) I had downloaded
    and even it is superseded and not required by WU, it can be installed, instead of saying that "This update does not applies to your computer".

    When an update contain new component(s) that originally do not exist in the system, MSU will be always installable even if if the component(s) is superseded

    i believe that is the same reason why WU still request KB3185319 in certain scenarios (since MSU uses WU engine and rules)

    Thanks. It really is KB3192404. So, it is just "satisfy WU", OK.
