Windows 10 Pro Education is now the highest Windows 10 Edition but I don't see any ISOs posted here. Can anyone shed some light on this? Any help is appreciated. Regards.
Thank you for the reply, Enthousiast but I don't seem to understand what you're saying. Could you please expand on it? Regards.
Get the 1703 RS2 Multiple Editions ISO, extract the install.wim, mount Home index (2) and set-edition to ProfessionalEducation, unmount /commit, open the iso with UltraISO or PowerISO and replace the original install.wim with the modified one and save. Use this new iso to install Pro-Edu in a VM.
Thanks for the explanation, Enthousiast but it's too complicated to me. I simply don't have the expertise for doing this. Any chance of you or anyone posting the ISO? Regards.
Thre's also the possibility to upgrade online Home/Pro to Education via entering generic Education Retail key .
No s1ave77, I don't think you can upgrade online Home/Pro to Education using a generic Education Retail key. If you've a installed copy of Windows 10 version 1607 or newer versions that are purchased with discounted K-12 academic licenses through OEM partners, it'll upgrade automatically to Windows 10 Pro Education as part of the Windows 10, version 1607 installation. Windows 10 Pro Education is available to customers with Academic Volume Licensing agreements with rights for Windows via the Volume Licensing Service Center. Thanks for trying to help. Regards.
@vyzzer you can upgrade online Home/Pro to Education using a generic Education Retail key, but not Pro Education because there is no leak generic pro education key yet.
No Bio Hazard, you can't upgrade online Home/Pro to Education using a generic Education Retail key cos Windows 10 Pro Education is using a different SKU. Regards.
