Just select 'I will install OS later' upon creation of VM.

Hi ive been using vmware workstation for a while now and for a long time it was slow until i changed a few settings.I was using the default settings except for increasing ram. These settings may help.I am using a 6gb ram hp g6 notebook and it helped alot. Here are two guides i used which may help first time vmware users when picking the settings.I am not allowed to post links but if you type (simple steps to improve virtual machine performance) into google.Sysprobs is the site. And the second and the one i think is a better guide is at howtogeek site type (The HTG Guide To Speeding Up Your Virtual Machines) into google. Hope this helps as much as it did me

This release is only to fix bugs on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server. I'm using Windows 7, don't need to update :D

Unless you disabled updates totally it will bugger you anyway. :)

I've seen two versions of VMWARE Player in the wild, same version but different build #. Just wanted to note that if 6.0.4/10.0.4 buggers you to update to 6.0.4/10.0.4 that's why.

    Tito's links are the latest.
