    Well its somewhat pointless to install Vmware Workstation 10 without having a product key lol as you can't run any of the Virtual Machines.

    Shrugs I'm happy though got my copy licensed :D

    Installed it on 2 different computers (both W8.1 Enterprise x64) and did not have any problems.

    Win8.1 Ent Preview installing now, Win8.1 WZT installed ENT x64 and Pro x64. Tools install no problem. Might be another issue specific to your hardware or installation, but ok here

    if you paid for vmware 9 within a certain time period, you will be emailed vmware 10 keys (as I was emailed yesterday lol)

    I installed 8.1 into 9.0.2 and installed vmtools. Installed 10 and booted up 8.1, installed the updated version of vmtools. No issues.

    VMware released a maintenance update on VMware workstation version 10.
    The following issues are resolved in VMware Workstation 10.0.1.

    • Easy Install supports RTM versions of Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2
      Easy Install now supports RTM versions of Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
    • Workstation or Player on Windows freezes if another application is frozen.
      Other stuck Windows applications could cause Workstation or Player to freeze while waiting for the application to respond.
    • Virtual machine hangs when powering off
      Rarely, virtual machines will cease functioning (hang) while powering off, particularly if the guest OS was in the middle of a BSOD or kernel panic.
    • Improved compatibility with some AMD CPUs
      Updated masking to match capabilities of certain AMD PileDriver CPUs.
    • Virtual machines displayed incorrectly on a multi-monitor Windows host when the displays have differing pixel density (DPI.)
    • Boot from CD/DVD when Legacy Floppy is disabled

    Yea, it is working good inside the Linux Mint 15 (Ubuntu 13.04 based)... ;)

    Thank you, I've been waiting on this. Second surprise when I come to MDL today, first was x86 and x64 OPP2013 and now these. It's like my birthday or something haha

    Its the best virtualization software, I just dont like to remove everytime im going to install a new OS, their autoinst.iso, its just annoying.:eek:
