    HPQFlash 3.10

    I`ve read in this thread and found the way how to patch bios. But this doesn`t work for me. The HPQflash I found is ver 4.253. My N620c told
    'The system does not contain the necessary WMI support for this version of HPQFlash. Please use a version og HPQFlash prior to version 4.0'
    Is there a way how to use the ver 4.253 or is there a 3er version I cam use.

    hi,

    there is no slic table in this bios, so what way have you found?

    Hi Again, any idea how can i enable the SLP? none of the dmi tools work on the dc7900. Is there anyway to reset everything to default (or flash the entire system eeprom)?

    i have been watching this thread for several months now but lately its getting increasingly harder. i just want an update about the progress for on the SLIC 2.1 "hack" for Compaq 8510w/p bioses. doesent seem to be any update for bios for either model on HP website.

    Is there a way then... to read the full bios....and program it...either via Linux... (heard this allows reading...) or via.. removal..and writing...

    There has just got to be a way to do it...
