Thanks Threat, works great, but you might want to change the way you make the delta file, it contains your user name on your PC.

Not too bothered ... this is only old abandonware stuff now. You can make some better delta files and post them if you want in place.

No problem. I'll let you make better release files. I still got loads of boxes of old archived media here to go through so will see what else I can find.

I'm searching for one of this:

Windows 2000 Advanced Server Limited Edition
Windows 2000 Datacenter Server Limited Edition.

This two are a limited OEM versions for IA-64, so they're very interesting - especially Datacenter Server LE. But I can't find even disk label for any of them.

Did someone hear something about this?

Just a quick question about Windows 2000: What are the SELECT editions? I know (in XP case) that OEM uses OEM:COA (sticker) or OEM:SLP (manufacturer) keys, Retail uses Retail keys (Windows bought on stores) or MSDN/TechNet (subscription) keys, and Volume uses Volume keys that can activate several computers usually only available for enterprises. What does SELECT differ from these 3? I happen to have a Windows 2000 Server Select SP4 ISO (not untouched unfortunately) in Portuguese.

Select editions were the old name to volume license.

They were editions given out to subscribers of programs such as Select Plus, Select Enterprise. The only difference here is select editions don't ask for product keys at all during install.

thanks for download, I downloaded 5 months ago, but only today,I tried to deal with that, I try to install with usb boot on old machine which runs windows xp quite good! I install on windows stratup, selecting to boot from usb, well, all goes like it has to, but when on blue screen there underneath are finishing components to load and is writting, windows 2000 load (like prepare to install), then suddenly blue screen with errors and suffestions to make checkdisk for errors, though before I did that and did defragmentation in windows xp module. The same happens also if I try to install windows xp on the same machine. any thoughts, thanks?

here is the foto what it shows me at the end: original-b28c51be5c5866bfbe241581215d4907.jpg

You need a SATA driver during setup. Neither 2000 or XP has a SATA driver included.

Not to mention it wants to load it from a Floppy. :mushy: That is, unless you integrate the drivers.

It doesn't mention Windows 2000 ISOs, but you're welcome to try. I never used Easy2Boot so I can't help you with that. If you just want to play around with Windows 2000 but not actually use it, try installing it in a virtual machine like Virtual PC, VMWare, VirtualBox, QEmu, etc.
