    Hi,

I am having troubles with network printing which was working correctly last week. i tried deleting the drivers for it and reinstalling it but i cant get it successfully connected. I tried disconnecting the cables and installing it and then connecting to see if that would work to no avail. I kept them connected with the same results. This is an HP deskjet 1519 printer and is not hard wired as it is hard wired to my desktop. I am using my laptop. How can i fix this issue?

    thx

If the physical printer has an usb port try that way to eliminate a hardware problem with it. If it works then problem is coming from network not the driver and not the printer. Try also from another PC. Finally stop the printing service in command prompt as admin , type net stop spooler and then net start spooler.

sounds like windows 10 service permissions.

run services.msc and start Device Install
    turn off printer
remove hidden device in device manager.. View> show hidden then look at printers and remove them.
reboot pc and start device install service again .. now plug in printer usb.

wait... network printer to desktop ?? wth

i think u need to plug in ETHERNET to modem not pc if its NETWORK printer.

if you have an internet box then best way is to plug it to that box (usb or ethernet) and try printing from your machine

The more detail one gives enables others to be more specific with solutions to your problem. Glad you got it fixed in the end though ;)
