Been trying to do this with my HP 550 using NBDMIFIT Version 1.1 E & D, & I can't get to the ADV options. I even connected a regular keyboard so I won't worry about the Fn button. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
@MarcelloMayhem Use the caps lock instead of shift and then press and hold Fn+F1 and type quickly A D V ... @all I could successfully change OS SKU and others and enable the SLIC Table but the marker is missing View attachment 30522 Any suggestions? Thanks Sascha
I am a newbie, not familiar to BIOS modding, and new to this forum, esp. to this thread, and the case below is the first time I touched a thing called BIOS modding. Today, I want to share my experience that I did last week, when I solved the problem on my HP Elitebook 2540p with error "OOA systemboard information invalid...".At beginning, I tried all the versions of NbDmiFit from v1.1 to v2.0, but nothing worked. It kept on prompting me that "SLP is disable", even I had used the command "SLP write ON". After nearly hundred times of trying, I tried the tool CPQTAG v2.16 to reboot VPRO with command "CPQTAG reboot VPRO". Then I run NbDmiFit 1.19 to update info. After reboot the laptop, I found that the problem was solved and my Elitebook 2540p worked perfectly until today, at least! One stupid question: Why do I need to reboot VPRO, and how the command "CPQTAG reboot VPRO" function? Please somebody explain!

hello everyone i have an 8440p and the PCID is missing it it supposed to be under the battery from what i've read but i can't find it. I can't find it on the motherboard either. Can someone tell me a valid PCID? I don't know if it matters what someone enters there... thanks in advance
Is there a SLP Marker Update for Lenovo Y40-70 with InsydeH20 Bios? *Nevermind* The existing SLP Marker for many other current Lenovo models worked fine. Successfully downgraded to Win 7 from Win 8.1 and activated perfectly!

Does anybody know how to write slic 2.1 to Lenovo E145 laptop. Originally windows 8.1 installed. It should be LENOVOTP-HS slic. I can not see it on the forum.
