Been getting that error as well.. finally figured it out. That means that the ACPI window is already open. Just go to Window (on top, next to access, specific, help), and click ACPI tables.

i used this yesterday, thinking i had to request a BIOS mod.
i noticed the Portable version leaves registry keys and drivers behind.
so i created a PortableApps . com format which cleans up everything, leaving nothing behind.

    RWEverythingPortable_1.6.9_32bit_64bit_English.paf.exe
    Code:
    Size: 4365388 bytes
    MD5: 9C0B8C8833E3CA421A881ED7AB4367CD
    SHA1: 3D4BEF063343841A024BBB7871ABFB5BC5B9D042
    CRC32: 8BDDF586

If you continually receive this error,
    1. open regedit.exe from the start search menu
    2. Search "regedit.exe" (without quotes of course)
    3. CTRL + F
    4. Delete all entries by searching registry for “RwEverything” and “rw.exe”
    5. There will be a couple towards the end in the hard drive registry keys but you can ignore those (this path in the registry specifically: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\)
    6. Relaunch RwEverything
Voila! it no longer has the access violations message
It happened to me where every time I would query the PCI bus it would say there was an access violation error and this procedure fixed it.
Read access violations kept occurring because I closed the application while it was on a faulting PCI device and then every time it opened the application it tried accessing the faulting PCI device right away and would not allow me to query the PCI bus.
    Hope this helps someone!
