I'm able to download a newer development build from the Parted Magic website with my subscription. I got a subscription a while ago so I could modify his images fairly extensively so I have both a custom Linux environment and a custom WinPE environment at my disposal. Since I always have the default Windows Recovery image auto-deleted upon OS installation/deployment, I instead use my custom version of Parted Magic and my WinPE build as "Recovery" images. I put both on a server share and simply add them to boot options and am able to access them across my server network. That's more of an explanation you required. But yes, there's a newer development version available.
Hi mate, what tool or version or functionality would you be looking at, in a newer version than June 2017? Just curious
It's an August build. Functionally simply includes some updated features, but as with all previous versions of PMagic, you can easily update and add anything to it you want so it's nothing substantial. I still use like an April build as my main bootable since there have been no particularly important significant OEM changes to warrant me building a new custom version of it with a newer build.
Parted magic 2017_09_05 was released yesterday. If anyone has any link to share, I would be grateful Thank you in advance.
I'm pretty sure he meant validate as in validate the hashes with the official site/download. Only someone that actually bought the ISO from the official Parted Magic site can confirm if these hashes are correct or not.
