How do you 'thank' or 'like' a post in the new system? I cannot see a button to click on, only a small arrow pointing upwards that show the members 'thanks/like' history. Thanks.
It is not yet enabled..will be soon.. After that buttons will be available. A new tab at everybody's profile is there and statistics / hottest threads found at quick links and Community navbar...
Ah, now I've got it. YOU cannot thank or like own posts, lol. Sure they were there before? They should have never been there for you at your own posts. At mine there are no for me, too.
It's an additional feature of the new system. One can either like or thank for a post. Except at the beautiful life section. There are likes, only.
They are different in layout... The users in the red box are those who have thanked for your post above and you have no buttons there because it is your own post. The layout of thanks / like containing box is different at the new system. It uses the format of the postbit. The buttons to like / thank are included there, at the old system they were at the bottom of the posts themselves... Everything is fine, though.
'I like that' is very different of 'I thank that'. Very nice effort Yen, I think this system really well improved the thanks system.
Thanks Yen. Now, how can I disable notifications when I am thanked by users, I've browsed two times into Settings and My Profile and can not figure out...
Well, I'm not gonna thank anymore or like. Can't undo if I regret that I thanked or liked something, so fck it.
I'd mentioned that that sort of thing might be a problem for some. Like a misclick from your phone or something could add a thank/like to someone you didn't want to thank or like. I don't get how they could make such a basic feature something you've got to pay for.
