Hi I don't want ressurrect thread that I make in last november/2016 when unfortunately MDL suffer attack but as consequence my thread was deleted so I simply attempt update: mobo:MSI A88XM-E45 before 8GB ram now 16GB ram HyperX CPU AMD A10 7850 VGA before only Onboard now XFX RX460 4GB ram STORAGE before 1 hdd WD WDC5000 500 GB + Seagate ST1000LM024 1TB now SSD SanDisk240GB +Seagate ST1000LM024 for a while is one humble rig but more strong I believe edit:also new monitor:TV LG Flatron M2280A simply awesome and I still don't feel good with it is huge lol
@Joe C yay you know all poor person when reach something better trust me; he stay more or less lost with own happiness
I thought as much. Even when he can't reach for Ryzen 7 1800X processor that is trending but that rig is quite up for any multithreading application as well as gaming.
@alextheg yep only my good God know my sacrifice but I'm obstinate and someday I put two RX480 in crosfire wait dude if I don't die before lol
There's debate on whether or not SLI and Crossfire are worth the aggravation to get it set up properly, and how well it can work once you do. Some think you can get as good with one GPU than with two (for the time and money). Currently, Nvidia has all together dropped SLI support.
@Joe C realy we need take more attention before waste a lot of money and after stay furious if don't works as expected
Additional consideration would be that SLI/Crossfire depend on a powerful CPU to feed the GPUs fast enough. The little APU might be too weak (at least the IPC), so the system won't profit from the second GPU.
hehe more little updates on my modest rig: case mode Deep Cool + montor LG W2253V HDMI obviously 22" (my old dream and is realy awesome)
hehe today one rich customer come to my house and after see my "new monitor LG W2253V" he talk to me so: Doctor you like earn one another LG monitor? and I of course Mr. so I earn one new in box LG23MP55HQ-P I don't believe then now I am very haaaaapy lol
depends on what you plan on doing with your pc, if your going to do video's then a 2 tb drive may not be enough. A 500gb is good for just normal usage, pics, tunes and daily surfing stuff
yep as say Joec C depends I personally ever used (in times of HDD) shrink partitions for example with 500GB HDD I reserve 100GB for partition C: for Windows exclusivelly and 400GB and for all my files, videos, musics, softwares etc and all works fine; after I move Documents, Downloads, Musics, Videos all for partition D: today I use SSD for Windows and 1TB HDD for all above mentioned
I usually have a backup of 1 TB(for important files) and 500 GB for everyday routine trivial files to external hard disk drives. I just save whatever I like to the small SSDs on my systems.
@Joe C: I agree. I back up my source and music projects to a thumb drive as well as on a cloud. I also make an incremental backup of the entire system on a 1tb drive I have. My main drive is a 512 gb SSD, which runs pretty nicely.
