By removing Cortana and Search App, I will no longer have the option to search? Is it possible to remove Cortana and stay with the search, or which way to be able to search when removing Cortana and Search App?

Cortana & Search are integrated as one. If you want a search function then use a 3 party start menu program like startisback or classic shell

It would be best just to remove Cortana with a registry edit. Then you can keep search. Actually I use Cortana to MY benefit. It is all in what you want. Cortana works for me, I do not work for her.

The "... pending..." is probably because you're trying to integrate Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
You run the "clean the image" code in a separate command terminal before you integrate Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
The steps are behind the spoiler in "== Source: Windows 10 ISO ==" in post #1659 and behind the spoiler in post #1660 "== Source: LTSB 2016 ==" ...

Better still--as several people have already said--don't use MSMG to integrate your cumulative updates.
See: == Integrate Windows Updates == section in post #1659

Also, two known working compression methods are described in post #1659. One using code and the other using MSMG to compress your WIM into an ESD.
    Cheers

Hi well I think that including severals "things" when working with MSMG Toolkit don't compensate at all and also always cause some pending operations for example NETFX3 for me is better install this applications after (when O.S. are installed and running) see my ISO after job done is only 3,61GB; but each user have your own reasoning then as consequence is ever big ISO's only my 2 cents :)

Sorry for the inconvenience, but how would it be to remove Cortana for the record? Taking advantage also, which way you set for Cortana to work for you?

    Thank you!

Oh perfect, thank you so much. Well the site was down so i didn't see those posts that basically answers all my questions :| Yeah i was integrating .net. I started with a clean base 14393 this time and it came out smaller of course but still 1GB larger than the original .iso. I will do it the way you posted. I guess i was in the mindset that i wanted to integrate any updates directly into the install because if they add fixes to stuff i removed from my install wim i didn't want to install them over it, basically install everything and then remove everything just in case was my line of thought. But since i test them first to make sure nothing gets broken i could just install the cumulative updates manually on my test bed and do it that way as well. It is Ltsb anyway.

    Thanks again!

When ask I say Not now for Cortana, then i use
To disable Cortana in windows 10

Press Win + R keyboard accelerator to open Run dialog box.
Type GPedit.msc and hit Enter or OK to open Local Group Policy Editor. Navigate to Local Computer Policy ->
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Search.
In the right pane, double click on policy named Allow Cortana.
    Select the Disabled radio button.

Use this. Copy to notepad, and save with cmd extension. Please adjust the paths to your location. Run as administrator.
    Code:
    DISM /Image:C:\ToolKit-v6.9\Mount\Install /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    DISM /Image:C:\ToolKit-v6.9\Mount\Install /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
    pause
    exit

Did you mount the image with the MSMG Toolkit before executing the command?
