Hey friends Just wanted to announce that I quit my job to make a world tour. It was always a dream to travel around the world with no technical toys. I'll take some basic gimmicks with me in case something goes wrong (because I'm alone on this trip) like a Nokia 5500, compass, flashlight and two cameras. I did several workouts and I'm totally motivated to do this .. and I'm pretty sure it will be fun. I start in Lhasa [Tibet] (next week). So I'm around 6 months (maybe more) definitely not online. Best wishes, chef. Wow, half a year! That will be great. I frequently meet travellers doing the same when I travel myself as backpacker. Once I even met the same 2 weeks after in another country. The longest time I could so far has been 5 weeks (only). I am sure it will change yourself. You'll meet a lot of different people. You'll see life different after it and interacting with different cultures will change your self-awareness. IMHO one of the best things in life one can do: to travel. Yes keep most of your common stuff away, take only with you what you really need. Soon you'll see anything from a different perspective and with a clear mind without the common thoughts (and habits).
