I have the iso en_windows_8.1_enterprise_with_update_x64_dvd_6054382, and I want to slipstream updates into that. How can I do that? I'm on Windows 7, and I have no idea how to use NTLite. Thanks!
Bump. I face the same problem as r3muxd did. I don't even know what to pick from WHDownloader’s drop-down menu: 1. "Windows8.1-x64" 2. "Windows8.1-x64-Update3-x64" Assuming it's the latter, do we go ahead and download everything? I mean, "Hotfixes" & "Security updates" are without a doubt essential, but do we really need "Additional" & "Extras"? How about excluding patches proven to be intrusive, collecting personal data etc? Is there a step-by-step guide (or ideally, a video tutorial) somewhere? Do excuse my ignorance but this is my first attempt in slipstreaming.
pick Windows8.1-x64-Update3-x64 and download all updates except extra. (in msmg it'll give you options which updates to choose or not) use msmg to slipstream updates into offline iso. take some time to understand options in msmg. and video tutorial is also available here for msmg.
Depends on what iso you have for to be updated. I always download all 8.1 Update 3 updates and use a 8.1 update 3 (dec. 2014) iso to update, using W8UI by @abbodi1406.

Why don't you use the most current version? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/whdownloader-support-and-chat.44645/page-108#post-1296720
I used the very link you posted.. WHD-W8.1UI_4.2.zip CRC32: 520f1336 MD5: 6c04809bfbef7d5c32b7806095c9d906 SHA-1: 11a35f30835ad779e45f4a15ea6cd138965bc083 I don’t know why it says "Running WHD-W81UI v4.1"
I am using the same links right now with no issues. Did you extract the WHD-W8.1UI_4.2 to a folder as follows: C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2" and inside there should be 2 files "WHD-W81UI-ReadMe.txt" and "WHD-W81UI.cmd". - Paste the win8.1 ISO in that folder "C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2". If you have winrar installed just right click the ISO and select "Extract Here" to unpack the contents. - Use "WHDownloader_0.0.2.3" to download the required updates eg Windows8.1-Update3-x64 . Extract WHDownloader_0.0.2.3.zip to C:\WHDownloader_0.0.2.3, open the app and set that path as the default download directory. - During/After downloading the updates you'll have an "Updates" folder created in "C:\WHDownloader_0.0.2.3" so "C:\WHDownloader_0.0.2.3\Updates" inside there will be another folder with the downloaded updates eg "Windows8.1-Update3-x64" - Copy/Cut and paste the "Updates" folder from WHDownloader_0.0.2.3 directory (so "C:\WHDownloader_0.0.2.3\Updates") to the "C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2" directory. - In the "C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2" directory you should now have the unpacked windows ISO, "Updates" folder and "WHD-W81UI-ReadMe.txt" and "WHD-W81UI.cmd". - Right click "WHD-W81UI.cmd" and run as admin. Press 1 Select offline target and paste in the path where the windows iso was unpacked eg "C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2" (without quotes), hit enter. - Should take you back to the main menu with the offline target path updated. Make sure option 2 WHD Repository is correct eg "C:\WHD-W8.1UI_4.2\Updates". If not press 2, and paste in the correct path. Hit enter. Should return back to main menu with the updated path. - Hit 0 to begin. Should work as im running it right now. Be prepared to wait 2-3 hours. I thought the process would be much quicker than installing windows then updating through windows update but its the same really, in my case anyway.
