It still screws up outlook and other Office products especially when you uninstall chrome. I am still staying away as still too many problems.
Here's a quick fix if Chrome is eating up your CPU You can use the "Purge Memory" command line switch. This creates a button in the Task Manager (Shift+Esc or go to the Wrench and check the Tools menu). Here's what to do: Right-click on the Chrome icon on your desktop and go to "Properties." There will be a text box with a long string of text that ends in ".exe." Putting a space after ".exe," add "--purge-memory-button" (without the quotation marks, obviously). Now, restart Chrome. You have just added a "Purge Memory" button to your "Task Manager." Whenever things start to slow up, hit Shift+Esc and hit the button. This will free the CPU up. While you're in there, you might want to end the Flash process too, if that's what is causing the problem. You're welcome.
