[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15042 (PC)

H'mm with my install it didn't restart but shut down each time (3 times)...had to switch computer off and restart, so it wasn't a watch tv install

Good point! Version number can be updated while other features remained intact. For this build to have no watermark and expiry date is palpable we COULD be receiving the Creators Update meant for release to the public on April.

Test with Windows 10 Pro 15031 Insider

Disable_UUP: WU--> Device up to date
Enable_UUP: WU--> Updating to 15042 (Initializing updates...)

so phase 1 of creators update seems to be done phase 2 might start soon since it's a bit early for no water mark

 

I paused the use of insiders builds for a couple of builds and rejoined right now. Since there's no iso for my language (de-de) and the official way of receiving insider builds takes at least 24 hours to get the builds after switching rings or (re-)joining the program, I am in a waiting state. Why do we have to wait so long?

 

This build is sooo good i think it's time for a clean install on my main SSD

 

tab 37 will be a magic code, so where is the esd file , i want to clean install it, please share it , win 10 en-us pro ,thanks !
