if it is truly no difference then why have different name (i would prefer my pc to be on a final/stable compare to "insider preview" at the end of my goal)? The latest update fails for me, I extracted the CAT from the MSU, and the CAB installed just fine without issues, then PC was doing its updating on reboot, got to 94%, failed, reverted changes, rebooted. Where do I look as to WHY it failed? I have many services turned off and system tasks disabled and I am totally aware that with such tweakge issues can arise, but I would rather go and learn why than just restore my "non-tweaked" image. There has to be an Update log somewhere.., right? EDIT: Error code 0x800f0922
If you remove 27 nuts and bolts from your car, and halfway down the motorway the engine packs in and a wheel falls off, would the mechanic explain to you precisely step by step how this happened, or would he just tell you you're an idiot for removing all the parts without knowing what the consequence would be?
