did u tried manjaro? its based on arch i think edit: didn't find usb drive, so i used xubuntu with unetbootin quiet impressive the responsiveness and the gui is good its on HDD right now, waiting few days and will clone it to ssd. i installed powershell wine, ff works winamp also i duno why its seems moving to linux is hard
^^ yep I think that Arch is the better distro but requires a lot of knowledge to make your own O.S. for this your size is very little comparing with any other distros so again I think is better take Ubuntu or Mint principally for new users
I've got to say Budgie is my Desktop of Choice, though I wish it didn't rely on Gnome as much (This is Changing!) as it does limit some features - Like for example I have 3 monitors, and the way that gnome does backgrounds basically limits me to a single image shown on all 3 screens at once. I tried KDE, but it really didn't like my multi monitor setup. Distro is of course, Arch.
I can never settle on 1 distro. Debian Ubuntu OpenSuse Arch If I could somehow find one that combines all the above, I'd be golden. As for desktop shells Gnome Budgie Xfce Cinnamon
