    Not quite.
Terrorists act like little brats that don't get their way so they maim and kill as in a temper tantrum. They should get a beating within an inch of their lives and even death to teach them that their tactics are unacceptable behavior to a normal society

@gorski: Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me in such a clear manner.

Pay Ausernamenoonehas no mind. He is a troll, doing this for attention. He is doing -exactly- what every xenophobe and bigot does: Inciting (or trying to) incite hatred and division among people.

It may sound cruel to some, but what we must do is deport people who commit crimes like that from our respective counties back to their own countries. And we must bar them entry to our countries.

    Not all of them.

Just the ones who exhibit tendencies of violence and aggression. Let them live among those who feel as they do. And how do you know which ones do? It is based on their actions.

The ones who want to live free from hatred and aggression must be provided with a safe haven so that they can enjoy the fruits of an intelligent, compassionate society.

Timothy McVey did what he did to lash out at the US government. Nothing more. He showed the world that he was willing do whatever it took to make his point clear. And that included killing innocents, including children.

Please don't think that I'm spouting religious drivel, but, according to scriptures, Christ said "The devil loves to play in the temples". And it's true. At least from what I've seen. The most heinous crimes were and are committed in the name of <Insert your religion of choice>

-ALL- religions are guilty of it. And that doesn't mean that the underlying tenets of spiritual faith are wrong. It is the curse of the double-edged sword of spirituality: -everything- can be twisted and misinterpreted to serve an agenda.

That's what we're seeing today. Greed and avarice, using the suffering of others to influence public opinion for the sake of a money-driven agenda.

That's why -every- spiritual faith teaches us to hold this world with disdain. When you crave money and power, you eventually come to a place where human lives no longer matter.

You and I come from different places, but we both agree on one thing: The world does need to be rid of greed and hatred.

Yes. And as long as we continue on our current path, we're doomed as a species.

I've been labelled a racist, a bigot, IQ challenged and now a troll and an attention seeker.

I am standing here alone in this forum, trying to offer an alternative view, all the while being ridiculed and name called by people who profess to be tolerant and understanding ...

Its obvious to anyone with reasonable judgement your words are anything but tolerant, and your distain for anyone with an alternative view comes through loud and clear.

Maybe I am not eloquent enough to get my message across, maybe no matter what I say, what links I provide to the contrary will be good enough, and only viewed as hate speech, bigotry and racism.

But at least I speak up. At least I have the courage of my convictions to counter what I see being offered in this thread. For this I am constantly labelled and name called.

De-Americanizing the world and replacing it with failed communism, socialism, progressivism or whatever other 'ism' you try to hide this failed ideology behind, or worse still, Islam is insanity.

Hopefully the video I linked above can explain a little better ...

@ausernamenoonehas: One minor correction: The word 'Islam' should be replaced with the word 'Religion'.
Religion has -ALWAYS- been about power, and exertion of control over the masses.

But don't mistake a spiritual belief system for religion. They are polar opposites.

Apart from that, I wholeheartedly agree with you. :)

CORRECTION: I agree with the statement you made that I have quoted.

@ausernamenoonehas When you meet intolerance with intolerance then you become no different and only serve their, terrorist, agenda.
You look around the world and you see people being listed as black, white, christian, muslim etc. All tags to divide and control what is ultimately just a planet of flawed humans.

    @Ausernamenoonehas.

It’s about how populists work and their psychology.

They do not appeal on intellect and they do not offer any political content and no constructive idea to resolve issues.

They address emotions and gut. They create a friend/enemy image by stigmatizing groups.
The group where those think they belong to is always the good one those who are different are the bad.

Their means which address emotions are always dominant, violent and made to polarize.

They are aggressive and ego driven. They are not about love and compassion not to speak of Christian values.

Representatives are Trump, Matteo Salvini, Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilders, Heinz-Christian Strache,…Tom van Grieken

It is quite obvious why you get such attributes. You are going into resonance with those emotions and listen with your gut and then you accept their black and white image without to use your Reason and human intellect.

You make use of their means and become the same what you actually condemn. A human with violent thoughts.
You become somebody who creates violence towards other humans or entire social groups!
You ‘feel’ with your gut and argue with a poisoned mind, poisoned with hate and other negative emotions.

Keep a clear mind and have a look at individuals and do not stigmatize an entire group therefore.
You are not supposed to be a judge for an entire group. We have a state of law punishing crimes.

I do not want to be offensive to you, it is pure observation I can observe.

Without to originally have known…..the video posted by aus... can be considered as a pro argument!
Means one can say without US support there would be no ISIS.

The Berlin terror attack was done by member/members of the ISIS, their claim of responsibility seems valid.

To post that video/event as an argument against Islam or against his named 'isms' makes absolutely no sense.

The ISIS is a terrorist group and a product of US invasion and politics actually the IS was US promoted and funded yes even planed and desired.

One can say founded/ supported by the CIA and kept alive as an argument to legitimate the fight against terrorism.

I don’t want to use it to argue but everybody who knows history can comprehend.

Keywords: (Iraq invasion) one of a reason why the US is responsible, yes has created issues with the Islamic world.

Payment of the US of the „Sunni Awakening“
    General Petraeus
    Henry Kravis
Fake attacks of General John Allen

Snowden says "Well, would you look at that"...

    EDITED: link updated, sorry...

We now have the worst possible deal for "us" (broadly speaking, "ordinary citizenry") and "authorities" got the best possible deal for them, since 9/11 and erosion of our liberties under the guise of "protego ergo obligo".

We lost all our (negative) rights and they have all the rights to intrude into our lives without restrictions, checks and balances - but they are still not doing their job (effectively) in the area which triggered the loss of our rights...

MOFOs!!! In effect "Protego, ergo obligo" MUST be changed to oblige those who "protect" us with all those instruments at their hand and still FAIL MISERABLY, both "us" and "themselves"!!! We must NOT give away all our privacy rights without CONDITIONS ATTACHED!!! Let's see which power hungry bastard will go into such professions without thinking seriously beforehand. It should be a filter good enough to get only the capable and motivated by the best motives into such jobs!

The government has made mistakes. The laws are already perfectly sufficient, though. Massive faults at the refugees' identity detection when they came....and the suspect Anis Amri is a known criminal to the feds and had been known therefore in Italy already....so the FAZ says...
The citizens do not have to give up more privacy therefore. The cops authority should do their work rightly, that's all.

I stopped reading the twitter link after a few posts.....o_O I am getting sick when....reading such logic....
"The attacker had been a refugee so we need to stop refugees
The attacker acts in the name of the Islam so Islamist have to be stopped."

The suspect is a sick criminal person who belongs to the IS.

Sorry no twitter or facebook for me. I prefer serious media such as the FAZ. :)

Now, this could be a serious game changer for the better for ALL (even if the rich and their lackeys would/could not see it):

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jan/01/universal-basic-income-trials-being-considered-in-scotland

Here are a few points to seriously inhale and hold in:

"Scotland looks set to be the first part of the UK to pilot a basic income for every citizen, as councils in Fife and Glasgow investigate trial schemes in 2017.

The councillor Matt Kerr has been championing the idea through the ornate halls of Glasgow City Chambers, and is frank about the challenges it poses.

“Like a lot of people, I was interested in the idea but never completely convinced,” he said. But working as Labour’s anti-poverty lead on the council, Kerr says that he “kept coming back to the basic income”.

Should we scrap benefits and pay everyone £100 a week?

Kerr sees the basic income as a way of simplifying the UK’s byzantine welfare system. “But it is also about solidarity: it says that everyone is valued and the government will support you. It changes the relationship between the individual and the state.”

The concept of a universal basic income revolves around the idea of offering every individual, regardless of existing welfare benefits or earned income, a non-conditional flat-rate payment, with any income earned above that taxed progressively. The intention is to provide a basic economic platform on which people can build their lives, whether they choose to earn, learn, care or set up a business."

    However:

    https://medium.com/@MattBruenig/the-ubi-already-exists-for-the-1-d3a49fad0580#.3rxno57vq

    "
The UBI already exists for the 1%

The universal basic income — a cash payment made to every individual in the country — has been critiqued recently by some commentators. Among other things, these writers dislike the fact that a UBI would deliver individuals income in a way that is divorced from working. Such an income arrangement would, it is argued, lead to meaninglessness, social dysfunction, and resentment.

One obvious problem with this analysis is that passive income — income divorced from work — already exists. It is called capital income. It flows out to various individuals in society in the form of interest, rents, and dividends. According to Piketty, Saez, and Zucman (PSZ), around 30% of all the income produced in the nation is paid out as capital income.

If passive income is so destructive, then you would think that centuries of dedicating one-third of national income to it would have burned society to the ground by now.

    Tithing to the 1%

In 2015, according to PSZ, the richest 1% of people in America received 20.2% of all the income in the nation. Ten points of that 20.2% came from equity income, net interest, housing rents, and the capital component of mixed income. Which is to say, 10% of all national income is paid out to the 1% as capital income. Let me reiterate: 1 in 10 dollars of income produced in this country is paid out to the richest 1% without them having to work for it.

Even if you exclude the capital component of mixed income (since it is connected to work even if the income is not from labor) and housing rents (since these are imputed to homeowners rather than paid to them as cash), that still means that, from equity income and interest alone, the top 1% receives 7.5% of the national income without having to work for it. Put another way: the average person in the top 1% receives a UBI equal to 7.5 times the average income in the country.

If passive income is so destructive, then the income situation of the 1% surely is a national emergency! Where does the 1% get its meaning with all of that free cash flowing in?"

havnt read all the thread but seems to me to be about life vs death.or unincorporated associations vs corporate. All roads lead to Rome..p.s. there is a common tendancy to mistake the U.S. with the u.S.of A. even among national leaders. its actually nearly impossible to decern without the spirit guidance to do so IMOthis is a good read. a letter from Jefferson to Madison while forming the Bill of Rights:http://pathteacheroneword.blogspot.com/2011/08/thomas-jefferson-earth-belongs-in.html
obviously, the reversal has happened but many are working towards correcting these mis takes.
