Hello all, I just have to install some Windows XPs on our company's computers and I already have an updated CD with myself, but I just don't know how to make it genuine these days. I use a VLK key during installation to make it pass but what to do after that? I have downloaded both Retail & VL version of SP3. I recall some tools names WGA 1.9.40 & AntiWPA and something else, which is the best and easy mode to activate Windows XP and make it Genuine? Regards,
It may be out of support but your company still needs valid licenses for XP - which should be able to activate easily.

I'm not understanding the OP. If they are employed by a legitimate company, shouldn't they already have valid VLK or retail keys? Why task an employee with this?
If you have input a legit non-leaked key, you should be good to go. To confirm, open windows update in XP, if it does not complain "you are victim of piracy", then you are activated.
There has been a tool around which is able to calculate vaild VLKs. Since VLK activation is offline only at WU blacklisted keys have been detected....
does it mean when i used a key when installing it worked and i can use windows update i have a working and activated windows without worry that it will be deactivated or any other problems?
I guess so. I don't believe M$ makes efforts to blacklist new VLKs for XP in the future since their XP support is cancelled already... If my brain serves me right they introduced WGA on XP with an update, you can disable it additionally.

I 've got a Original XP pro Corporate SP3 Student Edition dated january 2013, if i'm not mistaken, it doesn't need key to be genuine or not?? windsman.
