    I see no source code available. Personally, I wouldn't touch it.

    Never tried that distro, but it's based on Debian, so it's a known quantity. Should be familiar to anyone who has used Debian or Ubuntu. http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=gnewsense

    Question encrypt /boot or not?

    Debian , fedora and other distractions can encrypt the disk. But the /boot partition will not be encrypted. Are there any machine usage or history stores into the /boot partition? Will hacker search the /boot partition to find our secret?
