Default audio cutting out on win 10

i have a sound issue on win10 that when i watch a youtube video(HTML5), listen to google music(HTML5) or watch a flash video from random site the sound cuts out for a second or two and continues on. it happens randomly, maybe once every 5 min to once every half hour. it happens in chrome stable and FF stable so im guessing its a driver or win10 issue.

my gigabyte board uses onboard realtek chipset. ive tried to drivers that win10 installs and removed those and installed the updated realtek drivers from my mobo page and it still happens. not sure what the deal is.

anyone else having this issue or how i might troubleshoot it? i didnt have this issue on win8.1 with same hardware.

Did you try the 7576 drivers?

See if it happens with edge, and try the 7576 like thor said above.

The 7560 seems very stable, so if the 7576 doesn't work.

P.S. Also check the 3.5 jack line, there no great perfect fit, you move them and can get cut in, out, so just make sure noting is moving the line.

Do not try and bend the key, that's impossible, instead try to realize the truth, it's HWID. Activation Info Checking it- here

i have not tried them yet. is that a reputable site to get them from? how come those are newer than what you can get on the realtek site?

it happens on edge as well. only tested on youtube though. ya i havnt touched them since installing win10. it really seems like its on the software side of things. i know that scratchy sound audio connections make and this is just pure cut off and back on in a second or two.

Thor would never post a bad site, and I personally don't know the exact reason why Realtek never has the newest version out on their site, but their site is usually several versions behind than what gets leaked for Beta and WHQL.

Has been like this for years.

Depending on the motherboard MFG, sometimes there is extra hardware, or software added to the Audio DL, so the best thing is to install the version from Gigabyte, then you extract the new driver if needed, and use devise MGR to just update the driver, if you were to only install the Audio from Realtek, you could be missing something, just a FYI, not saying this is your problem.

You have a rear and front port in the back of MOBO, try the other and go to the config and set it, see if the problem is across both channels, after you try the newest driver.
