    Default The Windows XP OEMBIOS Archive

    Because the OEMBIOS file sets are scattered all over the place, and the OEMBIOS Repository only has torrent links, I decided to create this OEMBIOS archive in order to make things easier for everyone.


    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Run the OEMBIOS tool (v1.1) from pure DOS to detect which OEM SLP string is present.
    2. Compare the OEMBIOS.CAT CRC value, with the ones below, and download the appropriate OEMBIOS file set.


    NOTES

    COMPRESSED (OEMBIOS.BI_, OEMBIOS.CA_, OEMBIOS.DA_, OEMBIOS.SI_)
    These are used to convert a Windows XP CD (whether it's Retail or Volume License), into an OEM:SLP licensed CD.
    All compressed sets have been properly verified and compressed.

    UNCOMPRESSED (oembios.bin, oembios.cat, oembios.dat, oembios.sig)
    These are used to convert the license of an already installed Windows XP (whether it's Retail or Volume License), into an OEM:SLP license.
    All uncompressed sets have been properly verified.

    OEMBIOS_DAT.txt
    I have included, with each set, an OEMBIOS_DAT.txt file.
    This is the fully decrypted "oembios.dat" file of each set, which includes all the details about SLP strings and memory ranges.
    This file is for information purposes only and it is not used for anything else.

    How the hell do you download this file? ...expect my Chinese is a bit rusty

    Click on Acer_700A8481.zip this will take you to another page,
