    or
If your bios has a SLIX table
    or
If you have factory SLIC 2.0

VISIT THIS POST AND THIS POST. This method is a lot safer.
    This can upgrade your marker.
What is the difference between SLIC 2.0 and 2.1? The marker !!!
How do I know if I have a SLIC or SLIX table?
Run RW-Everything , press the "ACPI" button at the top.
After a few second a window will pop-up with tabs running across the top of it.
Those tabs are the tables you have in your bios. If you have a SLIX tab, then you have a SLIX table. Same for SLIC.
Once you visit the post linked to above, you will soon see that you will need a slp2mark.bin file. There is a collection HERE
POST ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SLIX PROCESS ON THAT THREAD, NOT THIS THREAD.

***** Do NOT make multiple request for the same bios *****

You will only annoy the modders and put yourself in a position where people will make judgements about your competence.
Unless weeks go by without your bios being modded, do not "remind" them; windows has a lengthy trial period, which can be rearmed multiple times.
The modders are EXTREMELY busy at the moment and have lifes too.
PLEASE search over the already modded bios collection VERY CAREFULLY as not to miss your bios and request one that has already been modded.
If you find your bios in this list, but there is no link, then that means your bios has already been requested and there is no need for you to request it again.
Simply check back occasionally untill you find it with a link.
If not found in this list, then use the "Search This Thread" option to serch for your bios. It may not have made it to this list yet.
The bios in this list are CONFIRMED WORKING BIOS.
Bios in this forum that are not yet on this list have not been confirmed yet; contribute to the forum and take the opportunity to be the first.
If you think you found your bios in this list, but are not sure, click the " * " at the end of the bios. It is a link to the original bios on Lenovo's website. You can verify there.

    What modders ask of you:
    First, find your computer's bios:
    Value Line Desktops
    Value Line Notebooks
    IdeaPad
    ThinkPad
    ThinkCentre
    ThinkStation
    ThinkServer
    Other

Support for IdeaPad and IdeaCentre Products
Hardware Maintenance Manual index - ThinkPad
Hardware Maintenance Manual index - Value Line notebooks

Present your request in this fashion:
-Model & Machine Type: <basically, what computer do you have?>
-Bios Revision :<on your bios's web page you will see "Version">
-Bios Type : <almost all lenovo bios are Phoenix>
-Bios SLIC : <at this point in time, everyone wants 2.1>
-Bios Link : <post the link to the page you found your bios>
-RW-Everything: <Link: follow these directions if you want a bios>

so,your request should look something like this:

    -Model & Machine Type: ThinkCentre M57 6072
    -Bios Revision : 2RKT60A
    -Bios Type : Phoenix
    -Bios SLIC : 2.1
    -Bios Link :

    -RW-Everything: AcpiTbls_ThinkCentre_M57_6072-A5U.zip
