Just finished installing it, the same problem, everything works except Advanced Task Manager, here's a picture (by the way, I used the Pill on a CLEAN INSTALL! - I only installed a few programs, Yahoo, Firefox, K-Lite Codec Pack, MSE and WinRAR) I got the iso directly from BA FTP

EDIT: One more thing, how to remove the RibbonUI? That thing installed too and I didn't wanted it.

my advanced task manager is not in background programs....

Unlock Ribbon UI:
Add key value “AppID” to “{9198DA45-C7D5-4EFF-A726-78FC547DFF53}” to the following location:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ CLSID \ {4F12FF5D-D319-4A79-8380-9CC80384DC08}

if you remove that string, i thin it will disappear...
i suggest you to replace explorer frame.dll or delete all images in it.....

Anyone know how to get transparency working on this?
I've included the very theme i changed a few thigns on.

under visual styles
I changed
Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\Aero\Aero.msstyles
to
Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\Aero\Aerolite.msstyles

and
under themes (although i think this is not important)s
i changed
SetLogonBackground=0
to
SetLogonBackground=1

Go to Advanced system settings > Advanced > settings , see it you have checked on "Enable transparent glass" there...

Doesn't work. It only makes the taskbar thumbnails transparent.

yupp. I was talking bout transparency with aerolite but i guess its programmed differently so no luck yet.

You could minimize it by the icon on explorer top left, so that you could always bring it back later in case you feel you miss it .

That might be, but it's not actually using a win 8 installer, so far every leak was a repacked .wim. with a win 7 installer. Until a real untouched .iso from MS appears we just don't know how a genuine win 8 key will affect the hash.

Windows 7 Beta keys are Genuine Windows 8 keys
