Default Windows Vista Paint Installer For Windows 7

Do you find Windows 7 Paint program to be confusing and frustrating? then do not despair, just install OldPaint.exe and Windows 7 Paint will be replaced by Windows Vista Paint, and if you decide you prefer Windows 7 Paint then just run the installer again and you will have windows 7 Paint again.

*a /S silent install switch has been added so that it can be silently installed during windows installation.

    HowTo:
Just double click on OldPaint.exe, now the User Account Control will ask if you will allow this program to make changes, choose "yes",now a window will appear and ask if you want to install this program, choose "yes',now a window will appear that says "DONE", thats it, now click on the "start" button, click on "all programs", then go to the "accessories" folder and click on Paint.

*If a windows appears saying "This application may not have installed correctly, click on "this program installed correctly"

*If your have trouble installing OldPaint on Windows 7 64bit then try this:

    Type:
    takeown /F %windir%\system32\mspaint.exe /A
at an administrative command prompt, then run the installer.

This actually installs the XP version of Paint, not the Vista version. There are some slight differences.

Do you actually use MS Paint? I do. A lot. Windows 7 "Paint" is an abomination not worthy of the program's name. Period. It took everything that Paint did well and threw it out the window, turning itself into a wanna-be of every other program out there... which isn't what I use Paint for.

And again, I actually use Paint.

A lot. Look me up on aroihkin.deviantart.com for the proof.
