    DaRT for Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2

    Not sure where to post this, here or in the application section... but as it is a real must have for any Windows 7 system administrator i decided to put it here, Mods you're free to move it

    Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset 6.5 is a complete suite of powerful and versatile tools that allow you to repair unbootable or locked-out systems, restore lost data, and diagnose system and network issues while the system is safely offline.

    Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (Microsoft DaRT), which is part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) for Software Assurance, includes tools formerly available as part of Winternals Administrator's Pak.

    I Ripped Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset 6.5 (Included both X86 & X64 installers and documentation ... only 12MB )

    Thx have been using ERD Commander for ages, unlike other products this one only got better after MS aquired Winternals

    DART 6.0 will work on windows7 which i already tried and it did well. If you want i can upload it to you. ERD commander is good utilities, i'm using it until now..

    Yeah it might work, but this one is specifically designed for Win7, so why use the old one?

    The installers require that you have a 'valid?' Win7 / Win 2008 R2 installation DVD, so my guess you can use a pre-build disc (using Vista files) for DaRT 6.0 on Win 7, but not build a new disc

    What has changed since Microsoft DaRT 6.0?
    The following changes have been made to Microsoft DaRT:
    - Support has been added for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, and support has been removed for all older operating systems.
    - The option to remap the offline drive letters to match the online drive letters when starting Microsoft DaRT by using an ERD disk has been added.
    - For display drivers, the driver manufacturer is listed.
