    Thanx!

Yes, it does now , but not tested. SLIC was tested with the certificate I listed in the post and the DELL key which is easily found. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll add that info to my post.

I have now upgraded to VMware 7 RC1 and this ROM seems to load quite fine with that version also.

I was led to believe the BIOS was version specific, and would not work in newer versions. I guess not! Or maybe that was true pre-version 7 since 6.5-7 have same hardware? Either way VMware 7 boots fine with BIOS 295 instead of 314.

Maybe this means you can upgrade the VM hardware but keep the same BIOS to prevent Windows from complaining? I'll have to try that from 6 to 7 or maybe 7 to 7.5 when it comes out!

I'll be modifying the 314 bios build that comes with VM 7 for the hell of it. Even though people can do it themselves with the VMware bios tool floating around here, I like to add a custom boot screen so I can see which bios I am loading. So I will post it up here when I'm done, I hope someone other than myself will find it useful.
