If this is happening when you manually mod the vmx file, then there is something else going on.

If you read some post ago, you can see my problems.
At this time (after 4 tests) Dell is the only working on WMvare 7.0.0 build-203739

Seriously, the only way I could see you having this problem as a result of the Patcher, would be that VMware has updated the vmx.exe file. Changing the structure, which might make the Patch cause errors..

Even though I have used all of the available Slic 2.1 Patches at least once, These are the ones I used the most. I left out the Dell, because after 5 shots, I was tried of taking shots of a working process...

Acer 2.1 Slic


Alienware 2.1 Slic


ASUS 2.1 Slic


HP 2.1 Slic


MSI 2.1 Slic


As you can see in the above VM, the patcher successfully patched every time, one right after the next. The Windows 7 VM above was built using the HP 2.1 Slic.. Not Slic'ed after, the vmx.exe on my rig is always modded when I build the VM's. I even build VMs of other Non-MS OSes, with the modded vmx.exe. I receive no errors while doing so..

Yes, I say that, I patch vmware-vmx.exe, then I extract Binres6005. If the file is correcty parched, I should get the BIOS for Linux and I don't.
