First of all, hello to all in this forum.
This is my first post here :)
So anyway here is the problem.
Issue:
When trying to install a 64bit guest OS on VMware I am getting the following error.
You have configured this virtual machine to use a 64-bit guest operating system. However, this host is not capable of running 64-bit virtual machines or this virtual machine has 64-bit support disabled.
I cannot find anything in BIOS that will enable VT. I bought this motherboard because it was claimed that it is VT ready.
I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
Here are all the Hardware and Software specs.
Motherboard: Abit iX38 Quad-GT BIOS ID:14
CPU: Quad Q9400
OS: Centos 5.3 64Bit
VMware: Workstation: 6.5.3 build-185404
I do not understand why VT is not option in my BIOS. :(
Thank you.
