Download the original biosupdate, the archieve contains a xxxx.rom & xxxx.wph biosfile.
Delete xxxx.rom file, rename the modded bios exactly the same as the original xxxx.wph.
Replace the orginal by the modded one, execute BWA-132.bat

I have tried the modded Bios and Vista did activate. However Vista continually deactivates after the PC has come out of sleep mode. Is there a solution to this?

Using a USB Flash drive with boofiles and the bios file with the flash app..

Try these SLIC = ASUS, I think I see the problem, when you right click on the files in XP it says they come from another computer and you have to click the unblock button and make sure that the properties are not set to hidden or read-only.

If you have a floppy drive you can try a bios recovery.
1. make a bootable floppy.
2. copy you're flash program (awdflash ) & bios to the floppy
3. create a text file, open it and add;

@ECHO OFF
awdflash biosfilename.BIN /py/sn/f/cc/r

4. Save text file as: autoexec.bat
5. Copy autoexec.bat to floppy.

Recovery floppy made, now you can try it.

Incase recovery doesn't work and if the bios chip sits in a socket then you can try a hotflash on a other mobo or buy a repacement chip.

Otherwise it is to the shop.:(

On some cases a clean install will do the trick.

You may want to try clicking on the link your self to see where it leads you..
Download the bios your self and upload it somwhere like rapdshare if you want too test if the bios mod will work.
