Yes, sir. I have actually flashed it about 5 times now and regardless of which of the two bios ASUS/HP I chose from the ones you sent me, everest displays SLIC table as DELL. The first time I flashed, it displayed ASUS, but now every flash I do it just displays dell.

I even went back to the original bios to remove all slic and then flashed again. Same result, it's only displaying dell in slic table now. Do I need to specify any options using phlash.exe?

RSDT says DELL at BFF70000h
SLIC says DELL

Do you have a softmod running?
I've dowloaded the bios & checked and its slic = HP.

I've no tool to edit this kind of bios.

We have what it takes to mod these bioses. Simply download the .exe file and use 7-zip to extract the BIOS (.bin .rom .wph etc) and mod the bios... then rezip that and the flashing software with a autoexec file and your done. Or you could even use a dos flasher to flash the new file (the only one that matters is the bios file, the rest of it is the installer) I've had Fzeven successfully mod 2 HP LAPTOP Bios (Dv1660SE, and DV6000)

well the flash went fine everything seems to function fine but now it says i have 9 days to activate?? i had vista loader installed before and i uninstalled it now.. vista was activated till i uninstalled vista loader.. what do i do now? thanks again

also the one i need is this one : EV0062P.BIO_Slic_Sony the other one was the older version of the bios. should this maybe be modded with other than sony?? maybe sony slic not activated or something? thanks again

If is says you're activated then you're good to go! Only way it will be unactivated is if you flash a unmodded BIOS or MS issues an update to disable this mod (which I doubt).

I tried this new bios and I still get the error, "Cmos checksum error = loading defaults", "Invalid bios rom, error code=51"... I tried clearing cmos via the jumper and also using the option in the flashing program... I know people would
advise flashing from dos, but since I don't have a floppy disk drive.. that's not much of an option at this point.... It still activates Windows vista though so that's a good thing! Thanks for all of your hard work.

Try downloading the Vista Oem Tool Kit Tools 2.5 Standalone found here: http://keznews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6160&highlight=voatk and see if it will remove the vista crack from your system... It worked for me so hopefully it'll work for you too

The notebook chipset 945 can use a max of 2048 mb of memory, but only 965 chipset can use 4096 mb of memory, but if you use a 32 bit system the maximum of memory that the software can use is 3072 mb, only in 64 bit system you can use 4096 mb or more of memory ( ex: windows xp 64 bit or windows vista 64 bit ).
