Sure first you have to find out if your copy of media center is oem, or retail. If it is oem then you are in luck. Usually oem copies of windows look to the bios for manufacturer data strings. If they are there then you will be able to do install media center using your laptop cd key. http://www.oembios.net will have the files you will need. First however on each system you wish to install media center on you are going to need a program called oembios.exe you have to run the file from the command prompt and it will tell you what CRC you need. Write down the manufacturer and crc and then head over to the site mentioned above to get the files you need. Install windows enter in your key, and then once you get finished with the install and notice the 30 days left to activate ****....dont worry take the files, and copy them to the proper location, and then reboot. there is a guide to do this some where on the msfn.org forums. just search for oembios.bin and you should come up with something if not then try oemscan or just oembios and you get what you need. The oembios.exe is also available there it comes with the oemscan program so if that is easier to find then just download and extract that inside you will see the oembios.exe file that will tell you what you need. If it says your system isn't supported then all is not lost if you know how to edit a bios. Simply use a dmi config tool for your bios type and change the manufacturer info to match whatever you want, and then you are set.
