Windows XP PRO - SP2 - Outlook Express

Somewhere along the line - when a PPT attachment appeared, a mysterious force made me un-check the "Always Ask" box for "Open, Save". The PPT attachment opens with Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer - I do not have Power Point installed, only the viewer.

Several fixes point to Folder Options/File Types/PPT/Advanced/Check "Confirm open after download" box.

I have repeatedly performed this operation, and still the PPT attachment opens automatically - with NO Warning box.

Frustrated in PA -
