Hi! I have an ASUS P5B motherboard and I have tried to flash with a modded BIOS (1202), but everytime I reboot it shows that:
CMOS settings wrong
Overclocking failed! Please enter setup to re-configure your system.
Press F1 to run Setup.
Press F2 to load default values and continue

I have also tried to mod the BIOS myself with Gkend's tool, but got the same error.
It only happens when I flash with a modded BIOS, if I flash with the original Asus BIOS (1202) it disappears.

I've tried to remove the CMOS battery and clear the CMOS by switching the jumper, but it keeps showing the same error everytime I reboot.

Could someone help me? ;)

Hi,

I had the same issue with a P5B with other modded 1202 bios, but original 1202 bios worked fine. I asked China4Ever to mod the 1202 fresh and he did and it worked perfect !! It’s very important to use the older AFUDOS included in the download and not the latest version from Asus for download.

Also be sure to use the (afudos /ixxxxx.rom /pbnc /n) dos command

@ NuGe09

I suggest that you put in your request again to China4Ever or Yen. They have come up with a new technique of successfully modifying Asus P5B motherboards' BIOS.
