Please have a closer look to SOURCES\$OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32\OEM. Make sure you can see hidden and system folders.
Anyway if you donīt find it, there is an other way to extract...stay tuned!
Edit:
Cert can be extracted from tokens.dat. Please upload it and i will do it for you.
Or you may try it by yourself: (translated from Japanese)
Method
1. Tokens.dat for SOTEC Windows Vista HomeBasic is opened with the binary editor and” OEM Certificate” is searched.
2. It was found,” the just above” of OEM Certificate” <? xml version= " 1.0 " encoding= " utf-8 "? >” With the character string which is said is searched.
3. It was found,” directly under” OEM Certificate” </r: license>” with the character string which is said is searched.
4. The data which is put to the character string which is found every character string of 2 and 3 alias is retained from 2 and 3.
Example oemcert_sotec.xrm-ms
Which means: The beginning of cert is:<? xml version= " 1.0 " encoding= " utf-8 "? > and it ends with </r: license>
Just copy that range into a new file and name it e.g. oemcert_fujutsu.xrm-ms.

Hello Yen,
This file was from my friend TOSHIBA laptop with Vista Home Premium loaded and there is no OEMCERT.XRM-MS file in his system, I also did try to find this OEM file from his recovery disk. I hope tokens.dat already activated.
By the way, my TOSHIBA laptop has Vista Home Basic loaded. Do you think I can use his recovery disk to load Vista Home Premium to my laptop? His laptop model is A135-4527 and my is A135-S2386.
I believe, that recovery disk will check system bios and it will not allow to do recovery the system. Am I correct?

I donīt think so. You can try a fresh install with his VHP on your machine, AFAIK it should activate. The SLIC in bios is for all versions (I donīt know restricted SLIC). But it could be that MS has done some restrictions in an other way.
You can also try to install from a retail or systembuilder DVD e.g. ultimate version and activate with extracted cert and toshiba ultimate key.

Is toshiba Ultimate key the same as Asus Ultimate key?. The one you extracted for me was from Vista Home Premium system and the I have key for that version only.
AFAIK are ultimate keys all the same.

Hi joemono,
About the Toshiba oem certifcate you ectracted, did it work?
What did the system you grabbed the tokens.dat SLIC table read like?
Can you extract that SLIC table?
I got 4 sets of oem certificates with coresponding SLIC tables, is yours one of these?
SLIC = TOSCPLTOSCPL00
OEMCERT CRC = 714A1F77
SLIC = TOSHIBA0044
OEMCERT CRC = 8AC3EF1B
SLIC = TOSINVTOSINV00
OEMCERT CRC = 6E3ACBE4
SLIC = TOSQCITOSQCI00

Did certificate, which Yen extracted work? I tried the certificate and tried to activate but nothing. Here's what I've done:
1. slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\Toshiba.xrm-ms
2. C:\windows\system32\slmgr -ipk xxxxx (SN here)
3. C:\windows\system32\slmgr -ato
Everything's OK until step 3. It says "Product activation failed". Can somebody help? I'm using Vista Home Premium SP1.

Hello,
This tokens.dat does not contain a digital certificate for a OEM-SLP pre-activated Vista. If this Sony Vaio came preinstalled with Vista, it's probably been activated through the OEM-COA channel.
Here is small program which will extract oem cert and slic
oemdump.zip - 320.4 Kb (http://downtown.vc/HS5OBS2QSZVM/oemdump.zip.html)
